6 Glory days

I REMEMBER back in grade school sitting in art class painting a picture of an autumn sunset.

I was never good at art, at least not if you consider art being either drawing or painting. When I got older I told people my medium was words. I would say, “I paint pictures with words.”

I guess that helped me feel better about my lack of artistic ability....

SAY S JESSE JOHNSON, who took both of these photos in his yard in rural Hector: “ I love looking at the red barn and seeing the trees and scenery change with the different seasons. The snow covered berry branch is also in my yard. I am a wife of a great husband and we have two wonderful busy sons. In my spare time when I am not at work at the local elementary school or playing with my sons, I pick up my camera and start taking pictures. I love to capture the beauty of nature and precious moments of my sons as they grow and discover new things. Everything around us moves and changes at such a fast pace, it is nice that with a push of a button, snap of the shutter we can freeze a moment in time forever.
