Welcome
to the winter edition of Minnesota Moments. This marks our five-year anniversary
of publishing. It has been a whirlwind ride to reach this milestone.
As we embark on our sixth year of publishing, we take a look back at our past issues with some “behind the scenes” stories and photos that should help enlighten you a bit on our journey to this point.
This edition is a celebration for us, so it is a bit different from our past efforts. But don’t worry, all of the familiar features you’ve come to enjoy will be back in our March/April issue — Guys & Garages, In the Kitchen, book reviews, etc.
We are thankful to our loyal readers for keeping us supplied with wonderful story ideas. If you know of someone who deserves being featured on the pages of Minnesota Moments, please let us know. Drop a note or send an e-mail.
We also want to take this time to thank our talented stable of contributors. Without them, this magazine wouldn’t be possible. Everyone from Southern Minnesota Correspondent Audrey Kletscher Helbling, to Chief Photographer Stuart Goldschen, to our illustrator, Lisa Webskowski, has helped make this magazine a success. And beyond those, there are several others who have submitted writings and done stories for us that have truly been a blessing.
Lastly, we want to thank our loyal advertisers, who have supported us throughout the past five years. We appreciate you and hope our readers realize the role you play in the magazine’s success and in turn support you, as well.
